More than Five Decades
of Experience
He is a renowned lecturer and author of many direct marketing
articles. Perrella has helped launch several new ventures with his
advertising and marketing expertise. A Past President of the
Chicago Association of Direct Marketing and a member of numerous
boards, he has won national and regional awards for his creativity
and leadership, including Chicago's 1995 Direct Marketer of the
Year.
During the course of his career, Perrella was instrumental in
establishing Direct Marketing courses in many universities and
provided direct marketing counsel to many Fortune 500 companies
and non-profit organizations. He has mentored individuals who are
now presidents and vice presidents of major U.S. corporations.
Perrella has a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Marketing from
Roosevelt University, Chicago. He is currently a consultant in Direct
Response Marketing and Advertising and also provides creative
services under the dba Ron Perrella DRS (Direct Response
Specialists).
Perrella is a past board member of the Pageant of the
Masters/Festival of the Arts in Laguna Beach, CA. He serves on the
board as an Advisor to the Southern California Chapter of the Direct
Marketing Association and a member of the Chicago, San Francisco,
San Diego and International Direct Marketing Associations.
Perrella has been active in the community over the past five years
with building entry participation, attendance, advertising,
sponsorships, public relations and celebrity participation in the
Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade, serving as Chairman/Director in
2002 and 2003. He served in the marketing capacity in 2000, 2001
and 2004. Perrella is active in St. Timothy's Catholic Church as an
usher and with fundraising events.
He graduated from the Laguna Niguel Citizens Police Academy as
President of Class #7. Perrella is a member of the Rotary Club of
Laguna Niguel and serves on the fundraising, newsletter and
meeting reporter committees. Perrella is an active member of the
Laguna Niguel Military Support Committee.
Perrella is married to Barbara, the father of five grown children and
has six grandchildren. The Perrella's moved from Winnetka, IL to
Laguna Niguel in 1989.

client and then founded an advertising
agency in 1973, sold it in 1983 and
became Vice Chairman of that company
(Rapp Collins MARCOA) and built it into
five offices across the U.S., with almost
$400 million of billing. The agency became
the largest Direct Marketing/Advertising
Agency in the world (Rapp Collins
Worldwide a member of the Omnicon
Group of Agencies).
